If you have a 30th anniversary SS or z28 with OEM SLP or GM stripes, i need a really quick favor.

Take a tape measure and just give me a ball park width measurement of the roof (width at windshield and width at hatch) and spoiler stripes width.

I was replacing my OEM SLP stripes with some from phoenix graphics and they are about 3'' to wide on the roof and 7/8'' wider on the spoiler.
I just talked to them on the phone today and they still claim they are identical to SLPs, obviously they are not, and im just trying to rule out some stuff. I have a hunch that the 30th z28 have wider roof stripes then the SS

IF you have any comparison pictures please post them!
Thanks

ALSO if you live in airzona and dont mind driving over the phoenix graphics and showing them your Z4C SS that would be awesome.

You might want to try the "Appearance" forum.

I thought the Appearance forum is for "does this supra spoiler look killer?" "who sells silver altelzas?" "what paint to use to paint my dash yellow?"

Its a very small crowd with 30th, and i didn't think there would be any browsing that forum since none of them would be changing the appearance.

I won't be of much help since my car's been repainted and the stripes might not be original dimensions, but I've got a friend who still has the OEM stripes on his. He might be able to give you some help.

Just some quick measurements...

on the roof (t-top side) they are ~13.75 including the pinstripe, ~12.9 w/o
on the hatch they are ~12.75 including the pinstripe, ~12.25 w/o.

It was hard to get a good measurement on the roof, I'm only 5' 7" and my car is on jacks right now, but it should be pretty close.

The measurements on my bone stock Z/28 hardtop are a little different:
At the windsheild with the pinstripes 15.75" or 40cm. Without the pinstripes
15" or 37.9cm
At the hatch with pinstripes 13.75" or 35cm and without pinstripes 13" or 32.9cm. Hope this helps.

Yah, thats where the discrepancy is. The phoenix graphics kit, as well as 3rdgendecals, and stinsels and stripes kit all claim to have genuine SS SLP replica kits, yet all have the 15.75'' roof stripes tapering down to 13.75.

The SS are 13.5'' tapering down to 12''

Back when I was looking for some for my SS cause a dog wanted to play run in front of the car doing 50mph. A Phoenix graphics salesperson told me that the color wouldn't match my stock ones and that I'd have to order the whole kit. So did yours match? Just wondering. I've since found a company on EBAY that sells original SLP ones. So now I got some roof&hatch spares but cannot get the front bumper cover ones. Ended up using a set of the roof ones that my buddy from the sighn shop cut to repro the front ones for me.
