Hello Forum! New guy here...

Just picked up my '98-- I mean '89 IROC yesterday. It's been 15 years since I have owned a Camaro and this is taking me back.

Although I'm a 'Vette' guy, (2001 coupe 425 rwhp, and 2006 Z06, 497 rwhp) I'm really enjoyng the car. I couldn't pass on the deal I got for it. It was originally owned by a father/son team and had it restored to a point where they put in a new crate engine, transmission and replaced the interior. Added headers and exhaust, sway bars and polished out the wheels. They sold the car to my detailer who was going to have it painted, then sell it for profit.

I ended up trading my slightly used YFZ450 ATV and accessories (worth about 7 grand) straight up for the IROC. I told him I thought the car was worth more than the ATV, but he definately wanted to do the deal. So... there ya go. Here's a few pics of my (new to me) ride and a pic of what's in the garage now.

I think you mean 89 IROC, not 98. Nice car though.

Welcome back to the Camaro community! Love the Z06, we have one locally that dynoed right at 450 RWHP stock and with nothing more than cam, headers, and x-pipe at Texas Speed and Performance it made 525 to the tires, those LS7's are simply amazing!!
