Re: Hello All
Welcome....
The board is broken down into a number of specific "tech" areas. For help with your 99 Z28 LS1, you would probably find the most help in "LS1 Engine Tech". there are also forums for "Drivetrain", "Suspension, Chassis and Brakes", "Wheels and Tires"..... etc. Posting your spefic question in one of those fourms usually gets the best results. This section "General .... Tech" is sort of a "catch all" for things that just don't fit anywhere else.
You're probably going to want to find out about the "free mods" - things you can do to improve performance at virtually no cost at all, then learn more about the "bolt-ons" - things that don't require internal modification of the engine, and then move on to a major upgrade with heads/cam, upgraded internals, a blower or nitrous. There are forums specific to "Forced Induction" and "N2O Tech" as well.
Poke around in the forums, ask your questions, and you'll find a lot of people willing to help.

strut tower brace, slp loudmouth exhaust then y-pipe, then performance lid, subframe connectors, shocks, polyurethane bushing on the lower contral arms, panhard rod, front and rear swaybar endlinks and bushings. This is a good start, best thing to do is read lot of the info in this website to get an idea what mods have worked out. These are mods I have on my car and I say each one has added some kind of performance for the good. The subframe connectors was an awsome and best noticeable upgrade for me. Tigtened everything up really good. The first five -maybe not y-pipe/ loudmouth or another exhuast- are a must.
Re: Hello All
Search first............IMO...Suspension first, LCA's, SFC's, STB, .....Exhaust........."cat back" Lid, Filter, then headers...Do a search for headers, there's a TON of header info in here!
our cars make a lot of power so I'd try to work on putting it to the ground first...
