heater smells burnt

lets just say that when i took a whiff, it gave me a craving for burger king. only when my heater is on i smell a burnt smell. ive got no heater core leaks, and my coolant level is full. am i maybe running the wrong coolant/water ratio?

Maybe your blower motor caught something inside of it.

The coolant/water ratio isn't going to affect how the heater smells, or have a major affect on how hot it runs.... the air flowing through the core doesn't touch the coolant. Unless, there's a leak in the core, and you are smelling the "sweet" odor of ethylene glycol.

if it smelled like burger king I hope you don't have a dead animal in the blower box

i have the same problem too. whenever i run my car pretty hard and then turn on a/c or heat, a burning smell comes from the vents. i've had this problem for over half a year and have no clue what it is or what its from.
