Heater Not Working..

So my heater isnt working good. I took my A/C off awhile back and the heater hasnt worked since. I left the AC lines open so the lines are just sitting there open. Could there be cold air getting in through those lines and making the the heater blow cold?

AC and heat are two separate things. Your heater core is probably clogged. Disconnect the 2 hoses that runs to the firewall/heater core and back to the water pump from the water pump, then using a low pressure water hose on one of those hoses flush it out.

I did what maverick is suggesting a couple weeks back and my heater has never blown so hot. I am in love with my car all over again.

DO NOT remove the ac lines - only the coolant lines, these are 2 completely different lines/hoses, one carries coolant from the motor/water pump and the other carries refridgement/freon, if you open up the ac lines you have a mess - only the coolant lines

Ive already taken the AC off of my car. Now I just have open lines and was wanting to put something over them to cover them up to keep trash out. So what size are the threads on the line that go into the compressor?

No. The heater circuit is just another route for coolant. It does not block function between the pump, engine and radiator.

No it won't. If you capped off the two heater hose connections at the WP, the engine would not overheat.
