Heater issue?

Ok, folks. My car was stored for several months. Upon getting it running again, I found that the heater doesn't work. It blows air, just not warm air, even when the car is up to temp. I thought it may be due to an air bubble in the cooling system, so I opened up the bleed screws and was immediately greeted with coolant.

I can't help thinking there is an issue with the heater core, but I've seen no evidence of a leak or anything, and I can't imagine it just 'not working'. Is there something obvious I might be missing? I'd rather check on easy solutions before I start taking the dash apart.

It could just be the core is clogged up, you can try flushing it and it won't require removing it.

Feel the 2 hoses going to the firewall to see if coolant is going through. If your coolant is low you will not get any heat either. Make sure your floor board is not wet on pass side---an indication of a leaky core.

As mentioned, might be a good idea to flush it.JMHO
