heater core replacement . . .

i have a 1996 camaro z28 . my heater core is leaking . i am a novice mechanic . i need the easiest and simpliest way to replace it .pics would be very helpful . thanks for any and all help

There are only a few steps to doing it. Most have said it is actually pretty easy.

Under the hood-remove hoses and clamp that is between the core pipes.

Under the dash-remove lower RH dash panel (removing the glove box may also help), then remove the cover over the heater core. Remove hold down bolt on the LH side of the core. Snake the core out.

Reverse to install.
