Headliner

Anyone have any trouble with their headliner coming down in their 4th gens? My 94 camaro has the headliner falling down right at the front closest to the windsheild. I've tried to glue it up a couple times but it just either heats back up and falls back down or after a while just falls back down anyway. Also have another spot it's not glued to the backing board, but its not really "hanging" like the front is.
Any suggestions on getting this to stay up once and for all?

Re: Headliner

I tried several things to try and make mine stay up and nothing seemed to work that well. The best thing to do is take the car to an upholstery shop and have them completely redo the headliner. It cost about $90 for mine.

Re: Headliner

hey thanks for the reply
thats not the news I wanted to hear! I figured it may come down to that though. Why does stuff have to age! Crappy plastic on the glovebox also broke on mine too, even after being careful with it Oh well though

Re: Headliner

I don't remember where I saw it, but you can get a fiberglass headliner so the problem will never occur again

Re: Headliner

I had a local guy here redo my headliner and both sunvisors for $100! And they came out awesome, but I'm afraid you will have to have it redone though.
