I don't drive the car that often but when i put the headlights down the motor keeps running for 10-15 sec.

Also when i unlock the doors with the remote the parking lights usually flash, now the headlights pop up and then down, then the headlight motor runs again for 10-15 sec. Only one side does it.

Does this mean there is a short or is the otor on its way out?

 

It means it's time for the "fix". The gear is worn. I don't know the link, but I'm sure someone will post the link to Brent's fix it site.
