Racing Question

How well can my stock 2002 Z28, 6 speed, hold off a Lightning? I used to have one, but never really raced it. Being lower to the ground makes it harder to judge. How do you guys fair against one?

Re: Racing Question

It's usually a pretty close race from what I've seen... Some Lightnings are pretty quick so watch out...

Re: Racing Question

Stock vs. stock ... it will be a good race which comes down to driver skill and factory freaks.

Re: Racing Question

I've raced a couple fairly stock ones at the track. They generally rip me outta the hole, but I have always caught up at the 1/8th mile or so. They don't put out good trap speeds, and are generally about as aerodynamic as a brick at speed.
