Which headers on a LT1 3rd Gen???

OK, I´m havin a bad time getting headers for my car.. I live in Mexico and LT1 is not very common here, so I buy almost every piece through the www.. Now I want headers and other things but I have found that 96-97 LT1 are diferent and more expensive than other years and need to know what fits my 3rd gen cause shipping is always more expensive than the parts, and that means "No returns"...

Catalityc Convtrs. are gone.. so, Can I use any year LT1 headers?
or, any 350 Chevy headers?
Will some long tubes fit the 3rd Gen with 4l60E?
How Much gain can I expect at the strip?

Any info will be great..

thanks.

you need headers for a third gen(fourth gen LT1 headers will NOT fit), if you find some, you could use "d" port ones, but this is not required, so, any SBC headers for a third gen will fit

yes, if the headers will clear a standard third gen auto, they will clear the 4L60E
