Hey guys, I'm sure this "belongs" in the regional section, but don't think there's much "exposure" there. I did some searches through the member list but unfortunately you can't search by member location.

I'm curious to see how many camaroz28 users are in Hawaii/Oahu other than the vacationers. I see LOTS of F-bodies around here, but no posters. I have two myself, and would like to hang out with other F-body enthusiasts. Other than being a car/F-body nut, I'm a pretty boring person so it's all I've got to go on LOL !!

I know there is at least one small club out here with a few T/A's, an SS, and a vette... wondering if they hang here or anyone else does.

I see at least 3-5 4th gen F-bodys a DAY, and I only drive a little more than 2 miles to work.... all sorts of car clubs out here, mostly vettes and ricers..

When I was on the big island there were Camaros all over the place, thats what the rental car companies had the most of.

 

I used to live in Kailua, the only other Camaro I used to cruise with was a good buudy of mine, but he moved as well. I'm not sure if they still do it or not but, if I can remember correctly it is the last Saturday of the month, and they meet up off of Lagoon Drive by the airport. Alot of cool cars, Check out Ron's High Performance, I'm sure they might have some info on get togethers.

I will be there next month. I just got a new job last friday. I will be working in Pearl Harbor for a few months, then a permanent move to Anchorage AK probably around the first of the year. I won't be taking the car to Hawaii, but would love to hook up with some F-Body guys.

By the way, anybody know of a nice 2 or 3 bedroom house for rent on Oahu. I was feeling pretty good about a $7500 per month per diem until I saw the rental prices over there.

 

7500 a month is a nice chunk of change even for here. There's plenty of nice rental places near Pearl Harbor... I have some friends in really nice 4 bedroom houses that pay about 2500/month. I'd still feel pretty darn good about that amount!

I have a Magnum SRT8 now. Got the wife and kid, and hopefully, God willing we will be adding one more. So no more FBody for the time being.

 

What was your previous F-bod Klee? You wouldn't happen to be Eugene Danielsen would you?

Not Eugene. First name Kevin, you figure out the rest. Go by BSM. Bode and the gang are hella cool, they have lots of great parts, plus a dyno!

 

My coupe was built by those guys, I need to go over there to find out a bit more about the car. They certainly threw everything they could at it! I need to correct a few problems though.... it's a shadow of what it once was at the moment.
