Grease Question

Ok, at the end of the nice summer weather last year I installed a new adjustable panhard rod with ALOT of help from you guys, nice weather has started and now i'll get to drive it, buit the instructions said to give it 2-3 shots of a silicon based grease. Well i've had the grease gun for a while and today I went to look for grease that fits it. The only grease I found in a cartridge form was marine grease. It doesnt list what is in it, so I need to know if marine grease is ok to use.

Thanks!

Re: Grease Question

I ordered the silicon based grease directly off of the Spohn website and bought a seperate grease gun as well. I don't take chances after all the money that has been spent on just suspension parts. www.spohn.net

No, I bought the grease gun from Auto Zone. You can get those just about anywhere.

Re: Grease Question

Maybe you dont have the cartridge set up right in the gun. It should squirt regardless of whether it is connected to the "zerk" fitting or not.

Ah, ZERK!

Well I pushed it into the zerk fitting and it seems to have worked, theres a little bit on the tip of the zerk.

The grease had an arrow pointing to one end and it said towards gun head and I removed the seal, stuck it in.
