Good deal on a 2002 Z28? Thanks for the opinions!
I am looking at buying a 2002 Z28 and wanted to see waht the general opinion was on the price. I have negotiated down to $8250.
2002 Z28 Silver
A4, 70,000 miles
T-Tops
All power
Leather, power driver seat
Sport Appearance Package
Cd Player and CD Changer
Stock chrome wheels, new tires
Issues:
Roof is bubbling due to the adhesion problem
front headlights are hazed over but not a big deal to fix
the passenger side rocker ground effect will need to be painted
the front drivers side ground effect needs painting
Passenger side motor needs to be replaced
Driver seat is worn but not torn
Carfax says no wrecks and this car has been very well maintained by the local chevy dealer as all of the maintenance is documented in the carfx report. The car also has absolutely no modifications.
Interested in all opinions. Thanks for the help!

If you can do the repairs yourself, I'd say buy it.
Personally, I wouldn't buy an A4 car and I don't care for the sport appearance package, so I'd keep looking. But, if those items appeal to you, then this could be a good deal.

Thanks for the feedback. I can do all of it except the paintwork. I would have to get somebody to do that for me but know enough people where it wouldnt really be an issue.
Actually probably one of the few, but the ground effects and the A4 were two of my main desired options. LOL.

Yeah, seems a little high, but these cars are getting rarer every day. Unmolested ones are few already- If it is what you want, go for it. Pretty easy to get parts for.
For comparison, I paid $9300 for my '01- in 2006, with 78 k mi. No leather, though, I swapped in leather Firebird seats.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am thinking this is a pretty good deal. This guy was very meticulous when it came to maintenance and he seems to have really taken good car of the car. The few issues i think are pretty minor and easy fixes. Plus they seem like issues i will have with any Z28 of that year regardless. Thanks again for the fedback. I think i am going to pull the trigger and pick it up sunday.

I know here in Pennsylvania, it's hard to get above 5000.00 for a Z28/SS/Trans Am of any year...the weather just doesn't promote driving these cars if you are north and west of Philadelphia especially in the mountains. You can only really enjoy driving these cars 6 months out of the year
