95 z28

hey i have a problem, not too serious. but still a problem... i had a bad cat on my z28. i gutted it. but as im putting my y pipe back up to the manifolds, some of the old bolts stripped out. also i dont know yet but some of the studs may have stripped out too.

first... hoping its just the bolts, how do i get new ones? i know a hardware store but even if i take the old ones up there, they still are all screwed up...

second... i do have a torch, and a stud puller. but i have never used the stud puller, how???

third... where do i but new studs at? the ones ment for the car. (chevy)

 

None of the exhaust studs are press fit, so the stud puller will not work. They hav eto be unscrewed. If you don't know the sizes, go to the dealer. Or buy a cheap maintainance manual.
