Everyone always asks about an install kit. What all is included in this kit? And do you really need one? I am going to be taking my car to a guys house who used to replace gears and do engine rebuilds for a living. He is very good at what he does. I have the TA stud and girdle kit for him to install and I was going to pick up some 3.73's. Are motive gears as good as GM? I don't want to ever hear a whine!

 

The rebuild kit includes the pinion and carrier bearings. It also includes new ring gear bolts and some shims.

 

I have Motives and they just started to whine after almost 3 years, only because I'm a dumbass and hit a dip going too fast.
