if i had an auto i would go with 3.73's or 4.10's with a manual. if you already have 3.23's then i dont see the point in going to a 3.42, unless you are only interested in 1/4 mile times. 3.73's= way more fun for a daily driver.

I put 3.73's in a 305 TBI A4 third gen, love them, still good on the freeway, and great around town, and almost no impact on fuel mileage
