Re: Gauges

A piller gauges always look good. Just try to match the gauges together so they look like a set not an Ebay shopping spree

Re: Gauges

I couldn't find a 3 gauge pillar for the 93-96 years. For some reason they won't work but it is hard to see why if you look at the 97-02 (which do accept the 3 gauge pillar).

Here's a picture of my guages in the 95.

Re: Gauges

I'd like the triple one for my car too, but I think we're stuck when it comes to our cars. I think autometer use to make the whole pillar for our cars, but has since stopped. If you find the triple for out cars be sure to post it one here.

Re: Gauges

The add-on pods look a bit better if you epoxy them to the stock pillar, fill the gaps with some bondo and paint them to match the interior.

I did the same thing with mine except I used spray on truck bed liner and then the texture matched almost perfect.

Love the way that turned out, i think thats the way I will go. I looked at a three gauge pod from lmperformance but they said it wouldnt match my car perfectly so screw that ill make my own.

How close was the paint you used to the actual color of the interior?
(Looks pretty close from the pics)

Re: Gauges

The paint is Eastwood Company "graphite" vinyl paint. I think the match is 100% to my graphite interior. If there is any difference in the photos, its generally due to the flash changing the colors. It looks fine in normal daylight. I also used that paint for a few other things in my interior, and to make some dash blanking plates for a 30 SS convertible, and it matched well to.
