gauge Q?
Boost gauges also display vacuum. A vacuum gauge is used to monitor the intake manifold. Loss of vacuum would be a warning that you have a leak in your intake system that would cause poor performance.

At idle my vacuum is around 18 in hg, so on the highway I try and maintain that for gas mileage.... It helps..

mhm are you sure there is a reservoir ? gauge responds emediatly to throtle.
