on my 93z when the gas tank is say 3/4 full it leaks gas. some drops on the plastic mat I leave under it in the garage.sucks cause gas is going down and I cant keep alot in it,plus stinks the garage up terrrible.a shop wants 600 bucks to drop the tank! is there anything I can do besides taking the take out an putting a new one in? in these cars you take alot off the back and even suspension parts to wiggle the tank out.plus it is dangerous with that leak, if I traded the car in or sold it I couldnt do it because of the danger factor. let me know your thoughts, or anyone that can do it near st. louis Mo. or southern illinois.and price. thanks.

 

If there is really a leak in the tank, itself, it will have to come out for repair (unless you can locate the leak and some gunk like JBWeld can fix it ).

 

Had a leak in mine,,,,,,the smell almost knocked me out
