Gas gauge stuck on Full

Gas gauge stuck on Full

Any idea as to how to get it unstuck?

Check your ground.. that should do it.. unless you for sure know it's stuck ...

If the wire to the gauge is open, the gauge will show full. Under the car, by the fuel filter, attached to the floor pan is a connector for the fuel sender in the tank. Disconnect it and ground the purple wire back toward the gauge. If the gauge reads "E", then the wire is ok to that point.

Well, as soon as I posted the gauge has fixed itself. If it gets crabby again, I'll check the ground as recommended.
