Gas came out of tank

Gas came out of tank

Well I got out of my car after a quick drive to notice some gas had leaked out of my tank where the cap is. It was so much that it covered my fender. Any thoughts on what might cause this?

DID you over fill the gas tank? Or take a crazy wide turn and gas came out the top, if so you have a bad gas cap or it wasnt tight.

Tank only had 3/4 full, and i didn't take any wide turns. The gas cap will be an easy fix.

I seem to have this issue pretty bad aswel.. Ive replaced the cap already. Its gotten to the point where i always fold up paper towels and place them inside behind the door every time i fill up.
