Gage cluster question?

I like the looks of the gages in the 97' or newer camaro, so I was wondering if it was possible to put them in my 93'? They are one piece so I would think that you could just swap them unless they are not compatable.

One thing that comes to mind is the odometer. I'm not sure of the year that the traditional style was switched over to the digital.

On a firebird you can update to a 1997 cluster but it has to be 97, LS1 clusters won't work.... The odometer number is preseved in the odometer itself, so your milage will be whatever your donor cars milage was.

You'll also get a seatbelt light that won't fully extinguish, it will only dim once your belts are locked. TCS light will also stay on unless you remove the light.

I may be talking out my butt as far as the Camaros go, maybe someone else will chime in....

Hope this helps.....
