full suspension lift at launch?

now im not talking so much as a wheelstand (damn cobras)... but with my 11.5 inch et streets... what kind of et's would you be running to make the front tires lift juuuuuust enough to maybe not spin for like a milisecond... im talking with stock front wheels/tires and no frontend weight reduction...

i think i've seen cars running low 11's with a good hook lift up the front end like that

anyone?

Under the circumstances you gave, I think it'd be VERY difficult. It's not about your car's ET as much as it's about your 60' specifically. I can't imagine your front wheels getting off the ground AT ALL unless you're putting down at least 400rwhp, or have some awesome suspension work done....

i don't personally know anyone that's done it with a completely stock front end. so yes, that is my guess, with completely stock front end, 400rwhp, and ET streets I bet you could lift at least ONE of the front tires for a millisecond

Take as much weight out of the front end as possible. Battery, front bumper support, air conditioning, swaybar, skinnies, etc. Add as much weight to the back end as possible. Battery...yeah thats about it. Get a high stall, spray out of the hole, aim straight and pray for daylight.

nah see... thats exactly what i don't wanna do... i wanna have a complete street car... nothing unstock about the front end... and just able to do a mini wheel stand at like a redlight with my et's on... just to show those ricers that like to rev at the redlights... can you do this?

Re: full suspension lift at launch?

And you wont be able to pull a wheelie on the street. If you're at a redlight with slicks on, you'd have to do a burnout to heat them up, stage, and stall up somehow in order to do it. Otherwise, those slicks are a spinnin.

Then you need horsepower and traction and a stiff suspension/chassis. That's all that will get you there.
