Fuel pump question

Anybody know if a fuel pump from a 98 Z28 will work in a 96 TA? I need one and found one for a good deal, guy says it will work but im not sure. I looked at part #'s from O'reilly and they are different, although only by 1. So does anybody know?

Re: Fuel pump question

Don't risk it if you aren't sure. Fuel pumps go for around $100 I believe which really isn't bad.

Re: Fuel pump question

What I know is, the delivery system on the LS1 is a little different and they use a higher pressure pump. Not sure about any pump physical differences.
