Fuel pressure gauge sender install problem- leaks!!

Can anyone tell me what I need to do here? I bought a Holley braided hose with a -4AN female fitting on one end, and a 1/8" NPT male fitting on the other. I bought a female-female adapter for the 1/8" NPT male fitting on the pressure sender at the local hardware store. I took the valve core out of the fuel line, and I hooked everything up like I was supposed to. I tightened everything as tight as I could get it without breaking something, and it still leaks! It's leaking out of both the -4AN fitting and the adapter I have on the sender. It's not leaking bad, but it's not safe to run it in this condition. What do I need to do? Do I buy any gasket sealant or anything? The instructions said to specifically not put teflon on the threads, as it will affect the grounding of the unit. Can anyone here think of anything I could do to possibly fix this problem??
