Question Front wheel hub assembly question

Do our cars have front wheel bearings that require re-packing or are they a sealed assembly?

4th gens are totally sealed and require no maintenance. You cannot repack them. You must replace the hub if the bearing is bad.

Helpful hint....

Perhaps yopu got two different answers because you don't have a "signature" indicating basic info, like the year, model, etc. of your car. Most people look for that info, without having to go to some external link to find the info.

Sorry, that was my fault! I thought I was still on the 3rd Gen. section.

I had to replace them on my 94 when I had it. I think I spent 82.00 each at pep boys.
