Fluid for Convertable Top

The top on my vert was getting slow closing and now I have to help it along by pulling on it manually.
I think it's low on fluid.
Does anyone know what kind of fluid the top takes?

Thanks in advance

Over on LS1tech.com I read that it uses multi-purpose hydraulic fluid from any auto parts store. Looks like Sta-Lube makes some in different size bottles.
