flooding and gas smell
I posted earlier that my 95 z28 runs worse when it gets warm. I think that when it gets warm its starts to flood a little bit. It kind of backfires when I hit the gas real quick and the smell of gas is noticable. I had my buddy put his computer on it, and doesnt show anything. I am putting a new coil on it as soon as it comes in. Anyone else have any ideas. I already put a new opti, waterpump, altenator. It runs great when its cold. Thanks

Re: flooding and gas smell
Flooding, running porly when warm could be related to the O2 sensors being faulty or the coolant temp sensor not indicating the correct temperature. If it's just a matter of a bad reading, neither of those would necessarily set a code.
What kind of "computer" did he use to access the PCM? Was it an OBD-I code reader or a full scanner? Did he have the correct adapter plug to connect an OBD-I device to your 95's 16-pin ALDL connector?

I dont know what kind it was. The brand was snap on, and he said it cost him around 10 thousand dollars. He has a garage with inspection license. He also had a bunch of different ends with it.
