I just have a couple of questions i am not sure if you can wax over the stripes there vinal and does anybody know what rearend gears i have ,it is an auto. I know this isnt a rational question but what do you think the car can do in a 1/4 mile one other thing is dex cool the only antifreez to use in the car what is the difference between this and regular antifreez

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com
Look at the RPO label on the door edge or in the glove box. You should find RPO GU5, which would confirm the 3.23 rear axle ratio.
It should run about 14.0 @98-100MPH. Plus or minus 2/10ths and 2 MPH
Dex-Cool was what your car left the factory with. Installed properly, and in a correctly vented and sealed system, it works fine. You could swap in th "conventional" green anti-freeze, but only after a thorough flush of the the old Dex-Cool coolant.
Dex-Cool and "conventonal" anti-freeze are both ethylene glycol base, with an additive package. The Dex-Cool additives do not contain silicates and phosphates. Silicates can contaminate the O2 sensors if you have a head gasket leak. Phosphates are a polutant when you dispose of used coolant. The claim is that the elimination of certain additives extends water pump life.
People either love Dex-Cool, or hate it - there is no in between. I've used it for 9 years in my 94 Formula with no problems.
With regard to "waxing" the vinyl stripes, I would avoid using any sort of abrasive. Otherwise, shouldn't be ay problems. There is actually a forum for "appearance" and another for "show and shine".... it's generally a good idea to post each question seperately, on the correct forum.
