firebird headlights pop up when I turn the parklights on

Just as it says, in my 95 formula when I turn the parklights on, the headlights pop up. They don't come on, but they do pop up. I've never seen another 4th gen bird do this. Anybody know what could be wrong? Thanks.

About the same time this happened you probably had a loud grinding noise in your headlight, right?

Problem is that your headlight gear is stripped. The stripped gear is "freaking out" your headlight control module. Until you fix the stripped gear issue, your lights will continue to act a bit strange. Fix the stripped gear and they will go back to normal again

I've got a free fix here that you can try. Worth a shot!

Thanks a lot. Yeah, my gear in the passenger side light grinds when I turn the lights off. I knew I had a problem there, but didn't realize that it would cause my lights to pop up when they weren't supposed to as well.

Thanks a bunch Brent.
