Well I finally got another camaro. I had a 79 with all kinds of stuff done to it. I had a lot of time and money into it. But anyway, I just got a 95 z-28. It has 124k but runs excellent. Needs a few things done to it to be real nice again but I got it for $300. Interior is nice but a little dirty. Exterior is a little rough but not too bad. The LH front fender has a crack along the door edge and the Rh fender has the piece behind the mirror cut off. The front bumper cover has some paint that is chipped off and a beat up corner so I ordered the 3 parts thru my shop and got them shipped for $219. After I get that stuff and put it on, I will be sending it in for new shiny new paint but I havent decided what color yet. I will try and post up some pics of it tomorrow.

Yea I work for a garage and the owner owns a car lot a block away. He got it ona trade and was going to junk it because the ignition was broke and some of the wires under the dash were clipped. I saw it and fell in love. I am going to the garage in the morning to check it over and change all the fluids and what not. I have my cam ready for action first thing in the morning!

 

This sounds like the same deal I got. The owner sold it to my boss who has a junkyard. the car wouldn't start and the ecm was blamed. So he's pulling the engine and selling it. Then the car goes to me for $400. Then in goes the 502. I hope all this comes together

 

His came with a motor for $300 though.

A rolling body for $400 isn't bad at all either though.
