I belive the stock auto-on fan start is till it reaches 210. You can get a used hypertech power programer and lower the stock fan setting, or get a lower temp thermostat. But before you do this make sure your car is running right. Or else fans still wont turn on.

Re: Fans Don't Come On...

Yes the car runs fine when its not sittin a mark past 210. I am aware of what temp the fans come on and thats how I know I have a problem. These 2 sensors are the only solutions I am aware of, and I have seen the fans come on so I know they work. I am going to flush the radiator, maybe the coolant/water ratio is a little thin, after that, Im gonna rewire the fans somehow. Any suggestions?

You might want to try and see if there's any way you can get an accurate reading of the temps. Stock, the computer won't turn the fans on till about 230? I think, which on my car is basically right below the red since it's a tad off.

If your car really is overheating then since the fans work with the ac on either the computer isn't getting the signal from the temp sensor or the line from the computer to the relays is bad.

210 is not even close to overheating. It looks like your system may be working perfectly fine.

I know 210 is not overheating, but they are not coming on at 230. It will go way past 210 with no remorse, and Im not anxious to let it go long enough to get into the red to see if they will come on then.

Then you need a scanner to see what the PCM is seeing and doing. Otherwise, you will just have to guess.
