Need lots more info on exactly how you wired the fans. So this is just gen. info.
You should always wire fans using a relay. The switch turns on the relay and the relay turns on the fans. Very few switches are rated any where near 20amps., so if you wire the fans directly though the switch this will definitely blow the fuse. Also if you used the stock relays, which are also powered by the PCM, you need to make sure your switch power is seperate from the existing circuits, so you don't "back feed" though one of those. This could also blow the fuse and/or fry your PCM.
Wire gage size is also very important. Where did you get the instructions for what you have done?

That certainly leaves a lot of Z28SORR's questions unanswered.

I think everyone figured that out from your signature. How did you wire the manual switch to the fans? "I have anything wire right... " seems to leave a lot of area for interpretation.

"The fan switch thing" is still not enough info. Give specifics if you want help. There are lots of different ways to wire a fan switch (most of them not so good).

I know you already bought a few things to wire up your fans to kick on manually, but are you aware that there are a few places and companies that sell a 3-way manual switch that is SAFE to run on your car and through the harness? Saves a lot of guesswork when it comes to doing that kind of thing with fans that kick on with a relay and at a certain temperature. SLP has the best one I've seen and works great.

You did the "not so good" method. You can find an easy and safe way to operate the fans while retaining factory operation on my Tech Page.
