Fake Flowmasters

Wasn't sure where I should put this, but I wanted it to be known, if true.

Got it from FirebirdV6.com

Re: Fake Flowmasters

But when you pay for a flowmaster and they tell you it's a flowmaster....

Re: Fake Flowmasters

If you are that worried, then stay away from the Ebay stuff and order your flowmaster equipment through reputable dealers like Summit or Jegs.

Re: Fake Flowmasters

I don't get Ebay stuff. I'm not worried, just letting everyone know, that's all.

Question Re: Fake Flowmasters

After reading this thread I just realized my muffler that I thought was a Flomaster might not be.
Does a Flomaster say Flowmaster on the bottom side of it?
Or might it be on the top side that I can't see
It sounds like a Flowmaster.
My mother says it sounds like a fishing boat.

Well if it flows good and sounds good, then like the old saying goes, "Ignorance is bliss."

Re: Fake Flowmasters

Buy something else instead, problem solved. Flowmaster is known to restrict compared to other aftermarket mufflers anyways.

I don't know if i agree with that. My old roommate was a stang guy and he had a stang magazine and they probably tested at least 10 diff mufflers maybe 20. The flowmaster wasn't the worst and was right in the running with all the rest of the big flow mufflers, borla, magnaflow, and warlocks.
