exhaust tip

exhaust tip

can i put an exhaust tip on my stock exhaust system? (i have a 95 3.8L camaro) if so.....the stock end is pointed down so i would have to cut it to make it come straight out the back?

Yes- cut off the curved portion and have a new tip that you like welded on. Some places sell the cheap tips that are held in place by screws rather than being welded on... I stay away from those personally.

Of course you can put a tip on. As stated before, cut off the curved portion and have one welded up.

ok cool.....i looked into them and the tips that screw on over are a lot cheaper plus i dont know very many welding places. what is wrong with the ones that screw on?

They fall off If you cant get it welded or want to change your mind use band type clamps from Jegs.
