exhaust makes a "ticking" sound

I have this problem after I put a new muffler on my 1991 camaro. When the car is ideling, the pipe goes "tick, tick, tick...." Is there any way to stop it?. It sounds like it comming for the area around the driveshaft (before the muffler).

I also have the same problem on my 1999 GTP, but it does it all them time, not only at idel, and its really bad when the pipe is hot.

Will it tick at the same spot it is leaking? Is it possible to to tick farther up the pipe, if the leak is at the pipe/muffler connection

How often does it tick? I mean.. is it like a seconds hand on a clock "tick, tick, tick" or is it more like "tick...... tick......"
