Emissions in Pa??

I have a 97 camaro. It started it's life as a v6 but now is a v8. I put everything out of a 97 z28 that was needed to make my 97 a v8. How will that affect my emissions being still listed as a v6 but having a v8 in there?

Best thing to do would be to call the place you plan on getting it inspected at and ask. In Lancaster I typically found that they didn't care if things were original as long as it had cats and the other required emissions hardware- however with yours being a '97 I think they will have to plug in the computer...

I would just call a few places and say what you said here-
