The complete Opti for $230 includes a cap and rotor and comes assembled. All you do is bolt it on and plug it in.

Re: Emergency! Quick Opti info needed

Thanks a bunch man, your site is extremly helpful. Unfortunatly I got ripped off for about $290. He replaced the entire ignition system - coil, module, opti which he said he did because that way there is no weak point. Can't say I agree but its done. The only good part is I have in writing that if any part fails I pay zero dollars for parts and labor for 2 years 24,000miles. He says thats just his personal standard even though most companies only offer 6 month warranties, and his way of getting customers to stay with him. Its in writing, but of course bull****ters always have a loop hole. Hopefully he sticks to his word. Well, hopefully I don't have to worry about this again period. Thanks again.

Trouble is that alot of these shops that deal with regular cars don't know crap when it comes to our cars and they don't really understand the electonic end of it ethier. But they will take your money.

Man, I had one kid come to me and said he paid $1,200. for an opti change.
