Electronic cutout?

Anyone that has experience with these, could you tell me the best one for the best price?

I'm looking to install it myself, as well as installing all the electronic stuff and switches myself.

Didn't really know where to post this.. sorry if I posted in the wrong forum.

Re: Electronic cutout?

few brands out there, and opinions vary on them all. i had a qtp and was ok with it. came with instructions, usually you run the cable thru the drain plug area in the passenger side floorboard and behind the dash to whereever you feel like mounting it. it connects to a switched 12v source. dont hook it to a constant or you will have a dead battery. sometimes the solenoid doesnt close the butterfly gate and you have to rock the switch back and forth a few times to get a good seal when closing it.

I have a DMH 3.5" On my SS and I love it. He also has one of the best warranties out there. Installation was a snap also.

ditto.

I had to send my QTP in for motor repair 4 times. I'm glad I have True Duals now.

Re: Electronic cutout?

I have a QTP and love it, I did have to send it in once so far to get rebuilt and I have only had it since March, but it only cost me shipping to have that done

dual manual. Will save you a lot of money, and I think you will be so happy with the sound of duals, you won't open them that much.

Re: Electronic cutout?

DMH Owner here. Works like a charm everytime. I would go with DMH or McCord Powerplate.
