Easy way to remove evap/heater core box?
Easy way to remove evap/heater core box?
I picked up a '99 3.8 Camaro with a blown head gasket and I guess during the install of the replacement motor, the previous owner broke the box.
I pulled one out of a parts car that I had, that had no dash. The only way I can see is by removing the dash in the '99 to get it out. Is that the only way? Any tips, tricks or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also does anyone know what to reseal it with?

Are you trying to remove and replace the box on the inside of the car or the outside of the car. If the outside then you have to remove the fasteners from the firewall through the engine bay for all but one or two, which will be under the dash...
I am trying to replace the box that is on the outside of the car. It's flanged and mounts against the passenger compartment into the engine bay.
From what I can see the only way to get it out is going to be removing my dash... what a pain that will be.
