Dyno Question..

When you get your car dynoed, don't they try to get the gear that is closest to 1:1? on my 95 M6 the guy did a 5th gear pull... which is like .76:1? and 4th is 1:1.. Was he just being stupid and made me waste 55 dollars?

Re: Dyno Question..

Hmm I dynoed at 282.6/306 on a 5th gear pull with bad rings and stock exhaust/manifolds and LT4 hotcam.. soon as I get my car back from the shop(355 and CC306) I shall have to get it dynoed again.

You want to dyno in whatever gear is closest to 1:1. For the M6 in our cars, 4th gear is 1:1.

In some 5 speed cars, 3rd gear may be closest to 1:1.
