I think the G-tech performance meters do something similar. They have a function where they "calculate" hp and tq, and it's all read through the cigarette lighter. I don't know if I trust a calculation to figure our hp...maybe speed through RPM and know the gear ratios, but that's about it.

Doesn't sound like it would be accurate at all. How the hell would it know so much stuff just from cig lighter
