Dual cutouts vs single

I'm running now LT's with full 3inch exhaust put it this way I have a Cam car my cam is a 224/228 with 581/589lift 112 LSA. I was thinking of running two cut outs in the y-pipe or one at the end. So my question is would two be better then one? They aren't cheap(electric) and the HP differences might not be different.

there is bound to be some gain in hp on the top end, however the loss of backpressure could hurt low end torque.

not sure how true this is.

i dont htink you'll benefit much from duals with just a cammed car

YES if you have a good y-pipe

i ran 2 because of my crappy "custom" T pipe or shall i say T pipe...LOL...i should have bought the mandrel bent hooker y pipe...

i will run at the track next time out with my both cutouts closed and then again with both open, and see what the MPH difference is. i have 3" piping (non madrel bent) with just a bullet muffler in the i pipe then that goes over the axle and dumps at the pass side bumper cover.

Yeah I was looking at that. Kinda sucks. Guess that's the price you pay for good sound and performance.
