Re: Driveshaft

I had my stock steel driveshaft "balanced" by a good shop using a magnetic pulse system; no improvement with the 70 mph vibration. Replaced the shaft with an aftermarket shaft (Denny's), no more vibration.

Re: Driveshaft

No idea where that is in PA, but Denny's does all my DS work, he's up here in Buffalo, NY.

Thanks for the replies.

there is actually a place 20 mins. away.

its called fayette welding, but they do drive shafts.

i bought my aluminum drive shaft used but it still vibrates, however i used the same u-joint.
is it possible my drive shaft is out of balance or could it be the u-joint?

it starts vibrating at 70 and quits at around 90. it's so annoying!!

(when doing 70) i let off the gas it does not vibrate. as soon as i touch the pedal it starts.
