Could be several things. As easy as a connector left un done or as complicated as realigning the SIR coil.

You didn't remove the SIR coil or let the wheel spin with the flex joint disconnected did you?

If everything is connected like it should be, try this to deactivate the system and then reactivate it. Pull the yellow airbag wire and disconnect it and pull the air bag fuse. Turn key to on. Now turn it off and connect the yellow connector and put the fuse back in. Now turn the switch on and confirm the air bag warning lamp flashes 7 times and then turns off.

You should then scan it for the code and report back so we can get you to the next step. If that doesn't fix the problem.

I didnt let it spin that I know of. I just let it hang out of the way while I removed everything else. I made sure the arrows were lined up befor I reinstalled it. They had moved about 1/8 inch so I lined it back up and reinstalled it. Ill deactivate the system like you said and let you know what happens. Thanks ALOT!

Well it flashed 7 times. But the light still stayed on. I cant make it up to the parts store to get it scanned yet, because I live out in the middle of nowhere and the closest parts store is 25-30 miles away. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks

Ok the air bag light it out. I took the wheel off and realigned the air bag coil. I guess I must have turned it more than I though. Thanks speedygonzales for your help.
