1997 Camaro z28 6 speed, 5.7

I'm having an issue with my driver side door lock actuator. I went to AutoZone and bought the durlast door lock actuator, but it turns out that it doesn't fit on the door latch! After taking it back and doing some research I've discovered that my car does not have pass lock. In summary, all of the new actuators being made come with an extra plastic gear that is for the pass lock feature. But all the videos I've seen on YouTube have shown that they have the correct latch with pass lock. It's the same actuator, but instead has an extra part attached. I've also found out that they don't manufacture the correct part anymore. I wanted to post here to get some advice before I rid eBay of the last one that's on there.
