Driver side door lock switch
Driver side door lock switch
So, I've had this problem for a little while but haven't been bothered with fixing it till now. The issue is, that when I hit the unlock switch on the driver side, only the driver side unlocks. But it will lock both sides. Passenger side works as it is supposed too, but the driver side simply wont unlock the passenger side.
And for some reason the driver side window switch for the passenger side rolls the window up and down a bit slower than the passenger side does as well. Both of these issues have been present for a good while now. Just finally got bothered enough to do something about it.
Any ideas?

Re: Driver side door lock switch
The door lock issue is probably being caused by a small plastic piece in the mechanism. Mine did this, and there was a plastic eyelet (for lack of a better term) that had cracked. You could probably find one in a junkyard donor, although I fixed mine with super glue. I can't give a solid answer on the window, but I will tell you that the pass window motors are problematic. A search should yield the info you need. BTW, whereabouts in OH are you? I'm in the western 'burbs of Cleveland.

Almost forgot about this post lol, but anyway, yeah I'm gonna take it apart this weekend and see if that is the case. Thanks for the insight on it.
As far as location i'm down near oxford in between cincinatti and dayton. It's pretty boring to say the least. Used to be good times several years ago.
