Door sagging/interference problem

I"m a new owner of a 95 trans am. I noticed on my car that both doors seem to be "saggin" a bit. They are interfering with the body on the bottom, rubbing a little bit of paint off. Is this a common problem? What is the best way to fix this?

Re: Door sagging/interference problem

In the new issue of Chevy High Performance there is an article about greasable door hinges for 3rd gen cars available from Classic Car Industries. I looked at the website and there is a kit for 4th gens but it's $200 per door. I will probably be buying these soon because my vert leaks along the top of the window and my doors are sagging a little bit. These hinges seem like they will be worth the money in the long run and I haven't seen any other aftermarket kits.

Re: Door sagging/interference problem

Why not just go to a junkyard and look for some old 4th gen hinges instead?

Re: Door sagging/interference problem

because they would probably already be saggin, wear out soon, and they are defective to begin with, aftermarket ones, will last, and are better.
