Door molding paint

Hey, sorry I dont know where to post this but what do you guys repaint your door moldings with. I have seen the paint get bad on several fbodies. I was just going to go to an auto parts store and get some spray touch up. Will that work???

Easy to fix...pull them off. you cant really repaint them, they replace them when they repaint cars. Just take them off and clean off the glue residue with some googone...looks better without them anyways.

Re: Door molding paint

They are not painted. They are actually molded in the color of the car.

I was shocked when the dealer was able to get me a new door moulding for my 94. I was 99% sure it would be a discontinued part due to the age, but it was available!

I dont recall exactly, but I dont think it was too bad. I want to say around $35 but I'm not sure. I pay wholesale cost on all my parts because I have business account. If something is cheap I usually dont pay much attention to the price. I was just shocked that they actually had it!
